What we believe is the reason for what we do. What we do is because of our firm belief that there is a Living God who is personal, loving, caring and merciful. Of course He is also Omnipotent (meaning Almighty), Omniscient (knowing all things past, present and future) and Omnipresent (He is everywhere and not limited to place or time). He is an eternal being without beginning or end and is the supreme Lord of the Universe. Being the sole Creator of all that is, He is Sovereign Lord and sustains and controls all of creation.

God did not remain a total mystery, for He chose to reveal Himself to man, His highest form of creation. Not only does nature reveal to man God’s power and might, but also there is the deliberate revelation of the Lord God who motivated and instructed man to record what He wanted man to know. This is the Bible. We know and can prove that the Bible is the Word of God. You can learn more of God’s Word through our Study Material page.

The Lord God created man in His own image, which enables man, above all else, to relate to God. God does related to man even today and anyone who puts his faith and trust in Him finds Him intervening in his life so that his life takes on meaning and purpose. You see, God loves man and wants man to have the best possible living regardless of any circumstances. Thus, even when man sinned and rebelled against God, going away from the way of living the God intended for man, the Lord God made it possible for man to come back to him in a meaningful relationship. He did this through His Son.

We know and believe that the Son of God is also God and equal with God. History shows us that Jesus Christ is God’s son. This history has been recorded and validated and tells us that about 2000 years ago, the Son of God came to earth and took on human form. He was not just God in mere human shape or pattern but was fully God and fully man at the same time. He was God-Man. As man, He lived and died and made it possible for man to relate to God and have the power of God in his life. This happens when we acknowledge that Jesus is God and when we obey Him. We must remember that the same history that tells us that Jesus died also firmly proclaims that Jesus rose from the dead after three days and did not die again. He is alive even today and is with God the Father. That is why He can help man in all his needs and can help you personally.

We can have power in our lives when we believe in Jesus and obey Him, and that power comes to us through God’s Holy Spirit. We know that the Holy Spirit of God is a person, being equal with God and being God Himself. In a mysterious, yet real and realistic way, the Holy Spirit of God lives in men and women who have submitted their lives to Jesus in faith and obedience. When God’s Holy Spirit lives in us then He becomes our Guide and our Comforter; our Teacher and our Helper; our Counselor and our Friend. We have day-to-day guidance and help in all of living.

We further believe that God wants man to respond to Him. When man does so, he gets new life-full, abundant, purposeful life. God has instructed man how to live and this by virtue of God being Creator and Savior of the world. God wants man to live in community and harmony with hose of similar commitment. This is why we talk about the Lord’s Church. It is the group of people who have chosen a new way of living through obeying Jesus.
